Features
Cash desk
Every shift opens and closes with a banknote count: the system says how much should be in the till, and any difference is recorded.
Sound familiar?
- Money is short in the evening and nobody knows why
- Expenses never make it into the notebook
- Nobody knows when cash was handed in, or how much
How it works in Lecxe
- 1
Open the shift
The cashier counts the banknotes; who took the till, and when, is recorded.
- 2
During the day
Cash, card and expenses in one book; shop sales land in the same shift.
- 3
Close the shift
The system names the expected amount, the cashier counts. If it differs, a reason is asked for, and the Z-report comes out.
- 4
Cash hand-in
Cash handed in is recorded, and you see what is left at the branch.
Questions
What happens when the count is off?
The difference is frozen with the shift and shown to the director — it cannot be changed later.
And with several branches?
Each branch has its own till and its own shifts.
Will I know if the cashier is late?
Yes: late openings and early closes against the rota go into the discipline report.
